Obviously, one of my favourite flowers, lilac, can be drunk and/or mixed with drinks (lemonade, Sekt, etc.) Are you ready?

• 5 lilac umbels
• 1 organic lemon cut in slices mixed with 17 g citric acid

Boil 350 grams of sugar in one litre water. Mix and stir lilac blooms and the lemon slices slowly into the boiling water. Afterward cover the whole thing and keep it for four days, straining and simmering the blooms. Fill the syrup in boiled bottles, then keep them in refrigerator. Voila, they are ready to add pizazz into your favourite drinks!
